enviolo brand refresh
In 2019, we won a “Bicycle Brand of the Year” award from the German Design Council for our naming and branding of enviolo, producer of stepless, automatic and integrated bicycle shifting solutions.
A change in enviolo’s portfolio and communication strategy led to a small refresh of the brand, away from a focus on single use cases such as “city” or “cargo”, towards a more general, all encompassing visual identity.
For this, we visualised “stepless shifting”, the core product feature, with a “stepless colour” – a gradient. The gradient can be used to colourise images, turning any photo into a “branded” image, making it instantly recognisable as enviolo.
